So the car itself is probably very well known to most readers here, if not it should be so get googling. Seeing as this is a pretty relaxed post and it is the weekend I thought I’d find some accompanying music and went looking for EVO themed songs. Well loosely based at best.

First up is DEVO with Whip it.

Next option is the recently departed Stevie Wright (he was also in the Easy Beats in the 1960's and sung ‘Friday on my mind’). The song is called ‘Evie’* and is a classic. It’s is epic in both it’s feel and track length and is actually divided into three parts, no breaks between them though. Rock on!

Next is another Aussie classic from the Skyhooks, this one is called ‘EVO Ego is not a dirty word’. Sadly the signer of this band, Shirley Straun (he was actually a man!!) died in helicopter accident. He was the pilot.

So then I found the clip below, it may appeal more to the younger readers. Maybe, I’m not sure.
