I’ve asked fintail about this a few hours ago but I need an answer and help from anyone of the old school experts on here. I have the opportunity and desire to purchase these awesome old trucks for my collection. I’m not familiar at all with the old stuff or the pricing. Being in Australia the market is probably different to other places so help may be difficult.
The Pickfords truck and trailer have the box and some play wear but presents well. The Hendrickson set is absolutely mint and the box is very good as well. I have looked around and found the same items in similar condition and the prices seem about right but just wanted some expert advice. These would be bought and kept for my kids in the future. I don’t mind paying top dollar for mint stuff so I’m mainly intersested in the Hendrickson but have heard that the Pickfords is not as easy to find and may be a rare cast?
My question as follows. Is $350 AUD over the top price wise for this pair?
