You also can’t take it with you. So I bought this and another old MBX recently after consulting with Fintail and some others here and on IG. Not to say he/they talked me into it, if anything I think he and others were telling me to hold off and wait for a cheaper option. Anyway I decided to just get them, I didn’t want to spend however long it may take to find these in such good condition. It would have ate away and I may have bought something not quite as good to quell the desire.
So in other words I paid top price with no regrets for what I believe are some of the nicest examples of these 50 year old toys around.
The fact the box resembles a Matchbox complete with striker is just awesome!
So amazed at the condition of the box! Now to keep it that way.

I just love this piece. I’m no expert on this old (s)cool stuff so I’ll link to Fintails brilliant post on his Hendrickson truck. His post was the first time I’d heard or seen this cast and have wanted one ever since. Getting the old MBX casts from IDM3 brought back memories of the old stuff and I needed more! So thanks for that IDM3!
The lack of play wear is amazing. I’m currently looking for a beat up version so I don’t ‘play’ with this one!
There is one more old MBX cast I recieved as mentioned, I’ll post that soon.
