Rusty

Got hold a Dodge Macho Powerwagen and promptly aged it. Also finally got around to trying out some chain, I rusted that as well.

Rust effect on the chain was easy. Painted it with a light coat of matte black then when it was touch dry a very light haze of bright orange, all spray can paint. It best to position it where you want it as when the paint dries it holds its shape. I’ve since moved this and it frees up a little but small areas of silver reappear as the paint breaks away where some links join. Light coats are the key to success on this.
