Picked up some tread plate plastic sheet from the hobby shop the other day. It reminds me of the old MBX pattern used on some of the bases of the casts from back then. The rear tailgate was missing from this cast, luckily the side one is identical so I was able to swap it’s position once the cast was apart. That left me with a gaping hole on the side of the trailer.

I thought I’d try a pop out section to make use of the hole and provide more floor area in the trailer for activities.

These were a ‘little’ tricky but I had to step out of my comfort zone and tread new ground. I think it’s a step in the right direction. (So not sorry)

So DragScort just fits, it’s tight but no tools are required. Fortunately the wheelie bar is removable as the tailgate won’t close with it in position.
