...depending on your current GPS coordinates. This is an old Matchbox Super Kings cast from the late ‘70s early ‘80s.
I originally thought this was a Ford Transit Cab chassis truck. Turns out it’s actually a Transit cab on a heavy duty chassis and is known as a Ford ‘A’ series if you want to split hairs.
This particular cast has got me confused. I had one as a kid in white with a trailer and large ocean racing power boat. Looking up info on the cast I can only see it was available in white with a trailer, no red cab versions. As far as I can tell it was only used with a trailer in white but there is also a red cab/white chassis version had an AVIS box on the rear. As you can see this has a turntable hitch fitted, it shows some signs of wear from a trailer being attatched and removed. Anyone have any info on this one?
