I’ve got a 4 year old and a 2 year old who are building quite a collection of diecasts. Most of them are HW hand picked by myself, some are picked by them, and others come as gifts..
They all get played with and appreciated - but I grew up making 1/24 kits and some of the details are pretty bad. I’m just starting to take one or two out to the garage to fix them up. Wondering if there are any tips around?
I’m talking headlights and tails, some small details, maybe removing some decals. Working my way up to stirpping paint and full custom. I’ve got some third tier examples to practice on.
