I have loved this car since getting to know it in the PC Sim Assetto Corsa for a long time now. I knew this Kyosho 1/64 version was a must have.
There isn’t anything perticularly special about the GTC. Even the GTE Roadcar doesn’t get much attention. I’m not even a huge Lotus fan. I’ve just become infatuated with this car (and the GTE).
The 1/64 Kyosho version is an ultra fine reproduction. It is hard to wrap my mind around how they go about making these so precise. The tiny “Cosworth”and other lettering is so small, it can only remind me of watch face details.
I often wonder how many people would be fooled by these photos if you told them it was a 1/24 or even 1/18 scale? This level of detail is phenomenal.
I’m very happy with Kyosho 1/64. Not obsessed, but I’m thrilled that they have done so many very interesting cars, and particularly less common ones.
This is just my second Kyosho 1/64. I can’t wait to receive a batch of five more still in the mail from Japan.
