Rote Sau 2.0

The livery of the famous "Rote Sau" was transplanted onto an SLS AMG GT3 back in 2011. It was entered into the Spa24h by the Black Falcon team and finished 3rd overall. This 1/18 Minichamps model captures the spectacular design of the SLS rather well. But see for yourself.

The GT3 versions of the SLS by Minichamps are all resin models. Very disappointing considering the gullwing doors of the original. Fortunately my dad owns a matt grey standard version already. He always leaves the doors open! Such a kid...Being a resin model I would have expected it to be a lot lighter. The details on the interior must take its toll.

The dashboard and the cage are laid out quite nicely. The strong point of every resin model car is obviously its exterior.

Great headlights and grill. Little red hook to top it off.

Wheel fitment is just so right on this one!

I am noticing that I will have documented all of my collection very soon. At least the stuff I have in my current appartment. Does anyone know how I can get authorship on other Jalopnik sites? I might move on to other topics until I bought something new.
