I went for a bit of a drive today and stopped at a Wal-Mart in the middle of no-where to find that they had a bin full of H case cars, so I snagged up a bunch of things I had on my list. Tonight I freed the ‘62 Ford Pickup.
One thing struck me as wrong with it though. The wheels just don’t look right. Sure, they’re standard 5-spokes, but Mattel could do so much better.

Overall the casting isn’t too bad, though there is a visible seam on the hood. Since this one was open, and I had some spare wheels laying around, I got to work on the truck as soon as I got done shooting the DLM photos.
