Hi there, here’s my entry for LaLD Car Week, “Teutonic Tuesday”... in the 1/64th scale category. It’s a modified BMW 2002. :)

The car is one of the quintessential BMW’s ever made... famous in its time, for its great handling and ‘zippy’ performance, it was also very refined in its construction. But the thing that really made it into a timeless classic, is its styling.... GQ even calls it “one of the coolest cars ever made.”

The cast is from HW. Besides the wheels swap... I ‘blackened’ the front grills and vents, ‘whitened’ the headlights with a silver sharpie, ‘blackened’ the grills on top of the bonnet, and ‘reddened’ the tail lights. :)

The wheels are from a Porsche 914 (boulevard)... so in a way, its still an “all German” car. :D :D
