Polistils from the Past

When I was growing up in the 1970’s and 80’s I used to collect Corgi and Polistil cars. My parents used to bring the Polistils back from their trips to Europe because they were very expensive in the US at FAO Schwartz and not many other people carried them. I packed them into cardboard boxes decades ago and most are now in my friend’s basement but I had one box in my apartment and here they are. They are surprisingly detailed for cars from that era. The boxes are in eh condition but the cars are all in good condition except for the white/blue Porsche.

I don’t know what happened to this one as it was in the same cardboard box as the other cars and it wasn’t wet or anything. The metal is just cracking apart all over.
