After reading 64wheels’ excellent feature on what he claims to be the Greatest Hot Wheels Ever, a new set of gears started turning in my head. What if I resto-modded my old 458 to this level? No, scratch that: what if there were THREE of these sorts of displays in my home?
That’s our topic today. I grant three licensed cars that debuted from 1999 to 2020 that you’ll give the GHWE treatment as seen above.
Those three will get the best sort of treatment: Real Riders, fully-detailed interior, all-metal painted chassis and removable body with one or two opening or functioning parts, and a special mirrored display mount. That package will be protected with foam, its big box and a lifetime warranty, along with information about the real car and the journey to turn it into a GHWE.
