I had an old tripod mount (for a tripod that we don't have anymore), and I took out the mounting screw and placed it at the top of the RC body.

I didn't have any glue on me, and gluesticks just wouldn't cut it. So I didn't have a way of adhering the mount to the inside of the body. I found a way. There's a groove going along the bottom of the mount, and I placed a short stick of piano wire in the groove. I put electrical tape underneath to make sure it wouldn't pop out. Then I cut some more holes in the roof so that I could secure the piano wire with zip ties.

Interestingly enough, I have camera mounts for both my RCs, yet I don't own a single GoPro. Maybe someday...
