Hello LaLD’ers. I was doing some cleaning up today and pulled out a couple of models that are just sitting around not doing me any good, so I thought I’d put them up here and see if anyone would be interested in a trade.
First up is a Monogram 1:8 scale plastic model kit of a “79 Turbo Trans Am. It’s a really cool model with some nice detail, but it’s not perfect and missing a few pieces. My thought was to do a custom on it and make it into a race car/land speed car; cover the headlights, build a roll cage, aluminum panels on the interior etc, but you can do with it whatever you wish. Missing pieces are as follows; 1 headlight bucket, driver side headlight bucket holder, all 4 headlight lenses, 1 exhaust tip, air filter, passenger mirror, and one end of the tie rod is broken so the wheels wont be able to turn in unison. Everything else is on the car and in good shape, I’ll look for a few of the parts this weekend, but I think they’re gone. Updates if I find anything.
* has a 3rd headlight bucket, just isn’t in the car, the holder is missing though.
Classy red and black interior, but if you have a way to remove the paint it is tan plastic underneath.
Second is a Revell Sikorsky HH-53C model kit, this has never been taken out of the packaging and is brand new. Comes with a Jeep and a Howitzer!
If either of these pique your interest let me know in the comments. I would like either a 1:24 or a 1:18 car for trade, brand doesn’t matter. Pickups would be awesome as my collection is lacking, otherwise hot rods, oddball cars, and motorcycles would be my top preferences, but I’m up for anything. Thanks for looking!
Edit: I would also be interested in any Hitch and Tow, or an Auto Hauler, preferably the Ford car carrier, but I feel that those are worth a bit more than what I’m offering, but hey, if anyone wants to, let me know.
