For the past couple of days I’ve been making a layout for the train, nothing crazy but something simple yet cool. Last night I made the outline of my idea, and it’s was nearly as big as my kitchen tables (yeah, we have two of them side-by-side, a 2 seater and a 4 seater to make a 6 seater). That is too big.
Unfortunately I neglected to take a pic because it was bedtime. But I’m going back to the drawing board for something smaller, but still cool and neat in its own right.
My idea is this, I watch a square/rectangle loop with long straight edges. In the middle I want a nature-esque feeling going on, like trees and maybe wildlife. I then want another section with a train stop, because that would be really neat. A town won’t be too feasible, because buildings and cars can be expensive, *grumble*. I also want a side area where I can either keep rolling stock, or put them on the track out of the way for the train. My ideas are subject to change, but I’m really brainstorming at the moment.
Also pictured is a train, I have no idea what it’s called, but I love the design. I believe it’s used to organize rolling stock. I got two of them, this one works, the other doesn’t.
