Good and Bad News [Updated]

The good news is that the corvette is 98% paint free! The bad news is that I chemically burned myself in the process.

Usually chemicals don’t bother me, so I don’t normally wear gloves when using it, I just get super careful. And I was spraying it outside in 27 F, my fingers were naturally cold so I didn’t think much of the ‘biting’ sensation I felt on my ring and pointer finger. It wasn’t until I rolled up my sleeve and got the sensation there, that I realized something was up.

Moral of my story, use proper safety gear, don’t be a idiot like your friendly neighborhood ztp. Also, if this keeps up tomorrow, I’ll be seeing a doctor.

Update: most of the biting/burning sensation is gone, which is very good. It’s only my two fingers that are still irritated, but I was also holding the car with those two fingers too. Still surprised at how much it stung me.
