I got some early birthday gifts in the mail from my parents, hooray!
I receive a HW 100% Ford Focus zx3 in racing livery, and is now one of my favorite castings, :D. The other is a JL car from the Mod Squad, a show MrsZtp enjoys. I requested it simply because MrsZtp really enjoys the show. When she saw it, she got really excited then told me “it’s too bad they set it on fire on the show.” Haha, :).
I’m told the focus is a ‘03 SEMA event special, and is suppose to be rare. Regardless I opened it, :). Both cars feature rubber tire’s, which was a surprise for the Focus. This HW 100% is my 6th one, and both the Shelby Daytona and the Viper have plastic wheels, so you never know.

Oh wow, it’s a beauty too. I love the HW’s livery. Despite not being a massive HW’s fan ( I’m more of a true scale and heavy detail fan), I really love HW 100% cars. Out of all the ones I have, only one I’m not too crazy for, a ‘70 Mustang. The proportions are off, but this Focus is just perfect.
It’s out of the trailer, yay!!! I really love it’s yellow wheels too. You just know it’s awd, :).
The detail is just amazing on this car. The rear windshield says “Ford Racing” on it. And while looking at the above pic, I just realized they put a “Ford ZX3" tampo on it! *drools*
The side is amazing as well. They have a lot going on with this design. I looked online for more info on this car, I didn’t find much, but I did discover there is another version that’s yellow with some minimalist designs; my guy beats that by a long shot, :).

If this car had any downfall, it would honestly be the engine...it’s chrome. I would of preferred something that isn’t so shiny. Though I am very impressed that the hood opens up. I’m pretty sure I squealed like a girl when I discovered it, :).

In conclusion, the HW 100% Ford Focus ZX3 is amazingly awesome, and I’d definitely recommend the casting if you ever come across one. My mom paid $25 for it, which is admittedly a bit high, but if it’s truely rare the price is understandable.
