Off-road Diorama: The Weekend Stuff

I gave myself some diorama time to slowly push it towards completion. Between church activities and car repairs, I got a lot done. This post I’m particularly proud of, :).

Originally there was a bump between the spackle road and the plaster cloth track; so I put spackle on top and smoothed it out.

I obviously had to paint it again, so I used the dark brown first.

Then I added the lightest brown I had, to make it seem not so mono-tone.

I then decided to “lighten up” the road using the light brown, gently applying the paint.

I think it turned out fantastic! Now I just need time to apply the grass/ground foam, :).
