I wasn’t planning on getting a hawl yesterday, but I found a silver GL Jeep on clearance for $3.59. It was from a Jeep series that I’ve never seen before, on clearance, and wasn’t a Black Bandit. Naturally I picked it up because I’ve been looking for a non-black Jeep for the off-road diorama.
All my off-road vehicles except one; the Ram 1500. It had a... incident involving my nephew. It’s elsewhere but still in usable condition.
Honestly, for off-roading vehicles I could do worse; this is a pretty good starting point. Also, that Bronco sits so high!
The Jeep is a ‘11, so a JK model. This casting is ridiculously photogenic, it’s really cool. My ultimate plan is for one recent model Jeep and a couple older models for the diorama; hopefully a couple of the YJ models because I love those square headlights, :). So far I’m a quarter of the way there.
