K-Cars & Derivatives

I had a fair amount of exposure to the K-car and its derivatives in my early years. It was hard not to in the early ‘90s. My first car ride was in a light blue Reliant K coupe, so I am told.

My grandparents had an Acclaim, white with a red interior. I remember the back seat well.

They also had a Sundance. And possibly an Aries at one point.

My aunt had a Spirit.

A friend of mine’s mom had an white Acclaim, too.

For better or worse, I have a bit of a fondness for this era of Chrysler if only due to nostalgia.
