The Toyota 3rd gen Camry was known as the Scepter in Japan, and was actually imported to Japan from Georgetown, Kentucky. This was the first US built Toyota to be sold in Japan, and would be followed later with coupe.
Honda did something similar with the 4th generation Accord wagon.
