Audi A3 fuel economy downgraded for 2019

Huh.

I noticed this while playing around with the configurator on Audi’s website, and confirmed it on fueleconomy.gov

Last year’s A3 Quattro sedan was rated at 24 city, 31 highway, 27 combined.

the 2019 A3 Quattro sedan is rated at 22 city, 30 highway, 25 combined.

The FWD model is unaffected.

For some perspective, that’s WORSE than the bigger A4 Quattro and A5 (despite having the same power train?), and tied with the Audi A6 Quattro (with the turbo V6).
