Simulation company Aerosoft has announced that they are producing a 10 (that’s TEN) DVD set of the new version of Microsoft Flight Simulator for the European market. MSFS 2020 will be released for PCs on 8/18, with a forthcoming date for XBox release. Aerosoft’s DVD set is tailored for areas with slower internet speeds, which would hamper the download of the 80-90GB file. Aerosoft will also be offering a 20 DVD drive though their online store.
Even in 2020, printing 10 DVDs is still cheaper than providing a USB thumb drive, which is kind of blowing my mind.
