Behold! Witness my struggle! On aircooled cars, that big fan you see is responsible for shoving all the air in between the cylinders, and it’s also the alternator. In this video, I remove the engine shroud/air duct, remove the fan/alternator assembly from the fan shroud, and then... flail around and struggle for DAYS trying to get the fan off from the shaft of the alternator.
It SHOULD have just slipped off. SHOULD HAVE. I tried hammers. I tried fire. I tried and failed over and over and over. Enjoy, this is basically a comedy in failure.
