Going from a 6' x 5' deck to a 28' x 7' deck has made projects so nice. No rain protection here, but that’s a trade-off I’m happy with.

Unfortunately getting big things up here is a bit tricky. This 3/4" sheet of plywood had no chance through the front door, so my roommate and I tag teamed it up and over the railing.

I’m also growing increasingly fond of big vans. It’s a shame a sprinter—hell, even an Express van—is worth it’s weight in gold.

There’s this girl who has been getting me into plants. We went on a day trip a few days ago and picked up some pretty cool ones at a rural roadside mom ‘n pop store, but she also gave me the idea to try training pothos to grow around my window. So... I’m trying it! I built a window surround, tied it into the shelf, and will be stapling pothos up and around said surround as it grows.
