My next project vehicle, just got it mostly-together and running this evening, prepped for a trip to North Carolina. It’s gonna be a wrenching project to work on with my dad (who’s now retired and itching for a project). And wrenching it does need, among other things like rust removal and repair, some electrical rewiring, replacement of rusted-out skid plates, vacuum leaks to find and resolve, and of course, it needs locking diffs!
Back in late August I put all-new stainless brake lines and new calipers/pads in, then this evening I finally got some fluid in there and fixed a couple of union leaks I found in the new lines, then bled all four corners. Working brakes are good.
