In a Facebook post about the recent Street Machine Weekend here in Lethbridge, there was a bit of a debate about street racing and burnouts. For the record, I’m completely against street racing, and 100% for racing on tracks and drag strips. The problem is that there aren’t any within a roughly two hour drive. During the weekend there was a number of tickets issued for stunting. Someone on the post said:
Smoke tires not drugs
I should totally make some bumper stickers that say that, and give the proceeds to the local car club to put toward their next event where they rent out the airport to use it as a track/drag strips.
