Wait, you mean that’s not how this works?
2008 Toyota Sienna. Power steering pump is leaking, and the steering rack boot on the passenger side is shredded, and beginning to leak. The rear main seal is also leaking. They said if I get the steering rack replaced at the same time as the rear main seal, it would save a bit, as there’s some overlap in the labour. So I guess it’s actually not going to be quite that bad. But still by far the biggest repair bill I’ve ever had. That’s more than half the price we paid for the van, roughly a year and a half ago.
