Apples and oranges, I know... but a local Chevy dealer has a leftover 17 Camaro RS V6 MANUAL that can be just about stolen right now. Something around $23k new. Everything I’ve heard about the Camaro V6 says it is quite good, with 335hp and a good sound. Is that an upgrade from my current stock FiST as a fun commuter third car?
EDIT: So I drove the Camaro, which is the actual car pictured. Much better chassis than I expected. Worse visibility than I expected. The 3.6 V6 is really good, lots of power and very smooth and eager to rev, and it sounds really good too. Overall was impressed and liked it more than I thought I would.
Comparing it to the FiST, the Camaro is bigger, bulkier, faster and feels like more of a GT sports car. The FiST is more nimble, smaller, darty, nervous and twitchy.
I’m trying to determine which would be more fun. I think the Camaro would be more fun except in a dense city.
