It once was a requirement for a true performance car, now it’s a brave decision for a manufacturer to make a car that is manual-only. Considering the vast majority of people don’t know how to drive one, you’ve just excluded a big part of the market. On the other hand, manual only earns a lot of enthusiast credibility.
I think this is the list now (in the US):
- Mustang GT350
- Camaro 1LE (except ZL1 1LE for some reason)
- Civic R/Si
911 GT3 Touring (991.2)*(no longer in production, 992 version not announced yet)- 718 GT4/Spyder
- WRX STI (STI only)*
