Vanity plates

Starting July 27, 2018 it will be possible to get a vanity plate in Quebec, Canada. But that’s not the good news.

Actually, it’s not good news at all because I’m not a fan of vanity plates.

The good news is that we will have the right to choose a message in any language. We won’t be restricted only to French language plates. The SAAQ, our automotive licensing agency, has determined that Quebec’s language charter doesn’t apply to license plates because they are personal, not commercial, communications.
