Soaking the Bajaab’s carb in a bucket of denatured alcohol overnight. This is the first real work I’ve done on the car. Have a rebuild kit ready to go in.
I figured alcohol was probably the least nasty solvent I could soak it in, and probably the easiest to dispose of. Letting it soak overnight, then going to scrub it with brushes and blow out the passages with carb cleaner. It doesn’t really seem that dirty inside, but did have some obvious gunk in some of the passages.
