sand box

somebody posted a bunch of photos on the gambler facebook page, which included some shots of the Saab.

Unfortunately this wasn’t our fast pass through the sand, we had just gotten unstuck, and were only doing about 15-20mph, vs. our lap where we got a running start.

You can see us just having dug out in the background of this photo:

(I had followed somebody who took a wrong turn off the course, and got bogged down when re-entering, I luckily found a discarded flip flop to dig the front wheels out, and Stef gave a push and the Saab popped back to the surface of the sand).

The sand was was the most difficult part for a lot of the more modern cars, and even some of the four wheel drive ones.
