Colorado Motorcycle Trip: Days 2 & 3

And elkDay 2 was spent whitewater rafting, so no pics. Day 3 started early so that my dad and I could ride ove Trail Ridge Road before the others got ready to leave.

Trail Ridge Road through Rocky Mountain National Park is pretty stunning. It climbs from about 7,500’ to 11,700’ over a couple miles and is full of scenic views.

We tried to ride up Mount Evans, but got caught in a hail storm before we got there and decided we didn’t want to experience that again if avoidable. Met some Germans on a well used Africa Twin on German plates.

Found out the Sportster didn’t like my rain gear:

It was a fun two day, we’re going to try to do Mt. Evans again today.
