Day Tripping

Drove 160 miles to get some tacos, then drove 160 miles back.

My GF and I have both been getting a little stir crazy, so we took a little day trip from Wichita up to Manhattan for lunch. Got up this morning, got some Quik Trip breakfast and set off.

Stopped by my thesis design build project on the way, and it’s still looking great 4 years later.

Got to Manhattan, got some tacos from Taco Lucha (my favorite taco joint in college) and ate in the Miata at a park. Wandered around town for a bit and headed home.

Definitely the longest road trip I’ve done in the Miata in about a year. I won’t pretend it’s a great road trip car, but it’s not bad at all on 2-lane country highways.
