It’s amazing how far a team can fall in a year. Especially when the car is an evolution of the previous year’s. Then again, when the previous year’s car was a cheater, so... not as surprising. Apparently all that oil burning was worth a half a second.
Also pretty amazing that this year’s Merc is a full second faster than last year’s pole sitter.
