Detroit-Hamtramck Assembly Is On The Chopping Block - Is The CT6?

Looks like GM is set to idle Detroit-Hamtramck Assembly (among others) where cars such as the Impala, Lacrosse, Volt and.... CT6 are produced. Is this the end of the road for the big RWD-based Cadillac flagship sedan? Just as the long awaited CT6-V with that twin turbo V8 is set to make its debut?

The [Reuters] report added that GM will end production of the CT6, LaCrosse, Volt, and Impala [with] the plant closure.

Say it ain’t so GM, PLEASE SAY IT AIN’T SO!
