This is what is left of the mirror mounted projection light on the Mustang. It had water in it after about a year, was warrantied and then the same thing happened.
I know people like to joke about build quality on domestic vehicles, but in reality it is an issue. Both the Mustang and my Fiesta ST are 2014's. Both cared for very carefully and both with 100K kms. Both have issues with paint flaking, myfordtouch and squeaky plastics.
It makes me think about other makes for my next ride.
