I’ve been listening to a new podcast, Causality, which looks at the root causes of many “accidents” and incidents. This specific episode is about offroad vehicles and rollovers, specifically the effect of roll cages on rollover risk. His show notes provide a wealth of information that I found very interesting.
Professionally, causality is essentially all I investigate. My main line of work is as a field based liability adjuster/investigator so I am often working alongside forensic engineers, accountants or fire investigators (among other experts) determine a) my exposure and b) causality to determine if I can transfer risk to other parties.
