Fiesta ST Values: Surprisingly High?

I paid $22,549.00 ($16,102.12 current USD) for my Fiesta ST brand new on February 8th 2015. Since then I’ve done approximately 120,000km (74,500miles) had 3 insurance claims and modified it...a bit with about $8,000 in parts “invested” (wasted) and another $2,000 in labour to install those parts.

I looked at used ST’s today on Autotrader and was surprised to find the prices are pretty high. In some cases more than I paid new (albeit for newer model years).  I feel like mine would sell for a decent amount, likely a pretty low depreciation all said and done.

I personally think these will be looked back on fondly and that the clean ones will be worth something as some of the badly cared for ones are being cannibalized/destroyed by “youths”.
