Damage Estimate!

So, my wife’s little door escapade came in at $1300. At least, that’s the first quoted amount. A little...high.. in my opinion.

I’ll take it somewhere else and see. Maybe I can use some insurance wizardry to lessen the quote, but I am not submitting a claim for this. It would be her second at fault claim within this policy term and upon renewal we’d have to sign away our first born child.

Unfortunately, her first claim was driving a fleet vehicle for her employer. It used to be that insurance followed the car NOT the driver (so, if I crashed your car, YOUR insurance would go up, not mine) but they fixed that bit of fuckiness prior to her crash so she’s stuck with it. Wrote it off though, so at least it was worth it, her employer replaced it with a much better car.

It sucks because the car is so clean otherwise.
