My ST is throwing this “service engine soon” alert. I tried the normal reset procedure for this light and disconnected the battery for 20 minutes with no change.
Oil is freshly changed as of this past week, no physical issues as far as I can tell and my handheld tuner can’t find any codes when scanned.
I took it to my Ford dealer and with the Mountune tune, they can’t scan for issues. I’ve emailed Mountune and have not yet heard back.

Unfortunately, outside of some limited recall scenarios where a specific update for the tuner is provided, you cannot uninstall a Mountune tune and then re-install. The ECU would have to be flashed and you’d lose your $325.00 tune.
Current strategy? Just keep driving
