My wife and I, much like nearly everyone else, have decided to give camping a go. Other than a couple overland trips with my Dad, I have not been camping since my early teens and my wife in her mid teens. Plus, if when I obtain an offroad vehicle, this is something that I want to do a lot.

So we dutifully went to Cabela’s and bought a decent tent from their in house line and then bought a ton of Woods stuff from crappy tire. All in, not overly cheap but the Kia’s sale covered it. We got a tent with a vestibule so Targa could have her own bedroom.

We ended up at Nahatlach park again, where the Sportwagen did quite well on the FSR leading into the park and ecological area. Some sites were off limits due to clearance, but we managed to get a nice site where the lake flows into the river.

The scenery was quite nice too, we stopped at Alexandra Bridge near Hells Gate on the way back and then hiked a bit near Hope as well.
