I strategically chiseled away at the wife, telling her it would be a good investment. She saw the profit margin, but knew I wouldn’t flip it quickly without playing around with it for a year. Then she said, go for it... “if you can drive it to work for a while and save gas money over your Suburban it’s worth it,” To which I hesitantly replied “umm... welllllll... that’s something it won’t do. It might get 10 mpg on a good day.” The conversation took a sharp turn at this point.
I have a wife and monies. If I had no wife, I’d have no monies and several unfinished beaters scattered about. Can’t complain- she keeps me in line and (mostly) tolerates my car addiction!
