Decided to go in last night and replace the rear main seal on the Miata swap motor. Didn’t know what state the clutch was in, so figured I’d scope that and see if it needs replacement.
Looks like the pressure plate and disk were replaced quite recently. The friend I bought the motor off of said he put about 5k miles on the car before it got totaled, so based on this wear, it must have been replaced right before he bought it.

Noticed a little roughness in the pilot bearing, so I’ll replace that, but everything else looks fine to reinstall as is. Was originally planning to put in my 1.6 setup (it’s lighter and fits), but this is in such good shape I’ll probably leave it as it was.
