I have acquired a vintage instrument
I’ve been trying to find an Azureglo Rickenbacker bass for years, but since they stopped making the color in 1984, and the replacement darker blue isn’t quite as well liked, they are pretty scarce. This one popped up on my marketplace feed this morning for a decent price, so I figured “why not?”
Now starts a few weeks of setting it up to play how I like. These old Rickenbackers, I hear, can be quite challenging to set up properly.
