First time out mountain (hill) biking in about twenty years. I was able to find a route all the way from my street to my job completely through the mountain preserve (about 12 miles). Not sure I’d be able to teach afterwards, but I’ll work up to it. I was a little skiddish on some of the big drops, but managed to not eat shit. Really glad I found a 29er, because there are some decent sized rocky ridges and a couple of patches of loose shale which would have probably dumped me on smaller wheels. Time for a beer.
