Everyone meet Iris. She was found playing in traffic with no collar. About six months older and twenty pounds lighter than our other dog, Apollo, who is a pit-border collie with something else large mixed in. He needed a friend as his two daily walks and hourly wrestling matches were not enough for his energy level. They have been kicking the shit out of each other for the last two hours.
Despite her smaller size, she holds her own. She is much squattier with the quintessential, bowed pit legs.
