Added head and tail lights to the Yamaha. Headlight was off my busted CL450. I previously converted the sealed beam to an H4 LED bulb. Purchased the taillight from Bob’s Used Cycles, which is the Mecca of motorcycle junkyards. Still thinking about throwing flat tracker tires and bars on her, but in our coming Mad Max future, I think the utility of the knobbies and high bars will come in handy.

The bike has factory lighting which wires straight to the generator using a few vintage electronic components, but I didn’t feel like screwing with them. I wired everything straight to a little Shorai battery that I secured underneath the seat. Both lights are wired to a switch on the headlight. Neat little set up with minimal weight added. Used a pressure switch on the brake lever for the brake light.
